How does it work?

Omnilux is able to pinpoint particular cells and promote active rejuvenation within them naturally using the body’s own healing processes. As our skin cells become older they lose their elasticity and tone. When stimulated by increased blood flow they become oxygenated and gather strength and volume. The cells are further aided by increased detoxification. Damage from the environment and the sun’s rays which produce free radicals can be combated freely and the result is total rejuvenation and younger looking skin.

How long does it take?

Treatment time for the first appointment will be 45 minutes; however each following treatment will only take 30 minutes at regular twice-weekly intervals during which time the time-light will only be used for 20 minutes.

The number of sessions of treatment depends on each individual and their skin type and you must take the recommendations of our medical practitioners.

Is it painful?

No, the whole treatment is non-invasive, totally safe and without pain. There is no need to allow for recovery time and you can go about your normal activities immediately after treatment.

Are there any side effects?

No side effects have been reported. There are no harmful UVA or UVB rays present in the scientifically designed source of light, so there can be no skin damage, in fact the treatment is quite relaxing and promotes a feeling of well-being both during and after administration.

How long will results last?

The results are dependent on skin-type and whether this treatment has been carried out alongside other treatment such as Omnilux. It can be expected however that there will be an immediate improvement in skin tone and clarity together with an overall softness and smoothing of wrinkles and fine lines.

It has been reported in trials that 91% of patients noted an improvement in their skin using Omnilux alone, 60% reported a pleasing reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and overall softer smoother skin and 55% acknowledged that their skin had increased in firmness. Several patients felt the treatment had given their skin an overall lifting and hydrating effect.

It must further be noted that such results continue to improve up to six months after treatment because Omnilux light therapy goes on stimulating the natural cellular processes to rejuvenate and improve the quality of your skin.
